I respect your privacy. This website does not require you to create an account and does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. This policy explains the limited data processing involved in visiting the site, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles and, where applicable, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data collected when you visit

• Hosting logs: when you load a page, the hosting provider (Vercel) automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, requested page and time of request. This is necessary to deliver the website securely and is handled under Vercel's privacy policy.
• Web fonts: the site loads the Inter font from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address. See Google's privacy policy.

I do not personally access, sell, or share this data, and I do not use it to identify you.

Cookies and local storage

If you use the contact form, the name, email address, subject and message you enter are sent to me by email through FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a form-to-email service. FormSubmit processes this data only to deliver your message; see formsubmit.co for their terms and privacy information. Please don't include sensitive information in your message.

Chat assistant

The "Ask about Simon" chat assistant answers questions using an AI model. The questions you type (and the recent conversation) are sent through this website's server to the AI provider, Anthropic, solely to generate an answer; see Anthropic's privacy policy. I do not store chat conversations. Answers are generated automatically and may be inaccurate. Please don't enter personal or sensitive information in the chat.

If you contact me

If you contact me through the form, by email or by phone, I will use the information you provide (such as your name, contact details and message) only to respond to you and for related recruitment or professional discussions. I will not share it with third parties without your consent, and I will delete it when it is no longer needed.

International transfers

Vercel, Google, FormSubmit and Anthropic may process data on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States. These providers apply their own safeguards for international data transfers.
